Betobar-Cast Resin Insulated Busway System

The Betobar busway system has been developed for the safe and efficient transmission and distribution of electrical power in low and medium voltage installations. The busway consists of copper or aluminium conductors which are embedded in a vacuum mixed insulation of epoxy and filled with 'BIM mix'. This casting mix has extensive electrical specifications, high mechanical solidity and outstanding physical characteristics.

The Betobar busway system is resistant to water and both highly flame-retardant and self-extinguishing. Due to a flexible production method in universal casting moulds with an integrated processed casting method, an extensive range of element forms can be manufactured for the standardised current ratings in low and medium voltage to suit particular project requirements.
